The Brothers of St. Gabriel are a part of a world-wide Montfortian family founded by ST. LOUIS MARIE DE MONTFORT in France in the early years of the 18th century. We became an autonomous society in 1842. Ever since, we have been pioneers in the field of General Education, Vocational Training and the Education of the Physically Challenged.

Today, the Brothers of St. Gabriel are rendering yeomen services in 31 countries of the world. The Brothers arrived in India in 1903 with a vision of creating a just and fraternal society. It has grown and spread to different parts of the country. Now there are seven provinces – Yercaud, Trichy, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Ranchi and North-East, managing 159 institutions, addressing the educational needs and providing Vocational Training, Education of the Physically Challenged, promoting the rights and development of tribals, dalits and the urban poor.

Science Lab

A Science lab is a workplace for the conduct of scientific research. Well furnished Labs has in our school It helps students to remember the concepts better. It helps to transfer the experience to other learning situations. It is a facility that provides controlled conditions in which scientific research, experiments and measurement may be performed.

Mathematics Lab

The mathematics laboratory is a place where anybody can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is a place where one can find a collection of games, puzzles, and other teaching and learning material. The materials are meant to be used both by the students on their own and with their teacher to explore the world of mathematics, to discover, to learn and to develop an interest in mathematics. The activities create interest among students or in anybody who wants to explore, and test some of their ideas, beliefs about mathematics.

Computer Lab

Computer Education is an integral part of the school curriculum. The students are trained in basic skills and techniques of Computer. Lab is available for Junior and senior students with specialized and updated software have and packages for each and every subject. It is further aided by Internet connections, which can be used under the proper guidance of instructors.

Smart Classes

To keep pace with the Advanced technology and to match the aspirations of the parents, the management has introduced computer aided technology SMART CLASS for the students for class I to X.

Library

Well furnished Library has in our school, with a rich collection of various types of books, under the charge of a well-qualified Librarian. Library periods are provided to all the classes in which they visit the Library to read the magazines, books and encyclopedias etc.

Following the wealth of wisdom in this saying, the school has collected a substantial no. of books on wide ranging disciplines to quench the children’s quest for knowledge. A qualified dedicated librarian perseveres to upkeep the library along the principles of library science. Library period introduced in the daily routine will go a long way to inculcate reading habits, the real means of obtaining pleasure and knowledge.

Activities

  1. Yoga, Karate, Painting (Art & Craft), Music, and Dance classes are held for the students at all levels. Band practice also done here.
  2. Each academic year, the process for selection of the New School Cabinet begins with a series of interactive sessions that bring out the best minds to the forefront. The school cabinet comprises of Head Boy (SPL), Head Girl (Asst. SPL), 8 House Captain. 2 Literary Club (Hindi), 2 Literary Club (English), 2 Cultural Club, 2 Eco Club, 2 Science Club Asst., 2 Maths Club, 2 Art & Craft, 2 Music, 2 Sports club etc.
  3. To foster qualities of Team-Spirit, Self Confidence, Co-operational and the spirit of Emulation, the school has introduced the ‘HOUSE SYSTEM’ whereby the students are divided into four Houses namely Montfort House, Gabriel House, Louis House and Trichet House. House activities are supervised by the teachers while everything else is taken care under the leadership of House Leader and Asst. House Leader.
  4. Keeping in view the need to develop the individual holistically, students are encouraged to exploit their latent in areas of music, dance, drama, intellectual pursuits, writing and painting. These activities form an integral part of the curriculum, thus fostering a healthy fostering a healthy culture among the students. Activities like seminars, expositions, presentations, field trips, meets and other related events form a regular feature of the school life.
