The birth anniversary of first Prime Minister of India, Jawahar Lal Nehru was celebrated as Children’s Day in the schools and educational institutes of the state on Tuesday. Montfort School celebrated the day at the school campus with the floral tribute to Pandit Nehru by The Chief Guest Bro. Ciril Lakra, Principal Bro. Pradeep Horo, Vice-Principal Bro. Vincent Madhanu, Sr. Anju T. Minj and School Leaders.
Led by Sr. Anju, teachers prayed for students and their will be colourful presentation of the Song, Skit and Dance by the teachers for the students of the school. A Fancy Dress Competition was organised for the students in different categories, who were judged by Bro. Palace, Bro. Ciril and Sr. Dayamani
The Principal delivered a message; focus on overall development of the child and better future for the nation. Vice-Principal inspired the students to be the pillars of tomorrow to draw inspiration from great leaders Like A.P.J Abdul Kalam and Barack Obama and so on.
The day ended with coming of the students and teachers together for a heartfelt dancing.
